About Jason Williamson
I want to help people build things that haven’t been built. I’m proud to be on a team at Oracle where that is our mantra every day. I love the intersection of technology, business and education. My background spans all of these areas – as an enterprise leader I worked during the IPO days of Capital One to building new programs at Amazon Web Services. I love being in the classroom and taught full time at the the University of Virginia for 5 years in the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. Topics of interest for me are Data Science, Project/Program Management, and Social Enterprise. Today I serve on the Board of Visitors at the historic North Carolina Central University (an HBCU in Durham, NC) helping Central shape the next generation of business students in IT, Management, Cyber and Startups. I also teach at UVA\'s School of Data Science. In my younger days, I served my country as a US Marine. Semper Fi My love for startups stems from creating and supporting companies and faith based NGOs.
