ABOUT WILLIAMS NOAH
I am a Master of Arts graduate from Johns Hopkins University SAIS. Interested in African economic development, public governance and Tax policy Research. Before studying for a master’s in international affairs at Johns Hopkins SAIS, I worked in international development. My work focused on a project relating to Democracy and governance, Human resource, Elections, Constitutional reform, citizen engagement, Transparency & accountability, and capacity building. At SAIS, I complimented these experiences by taking courses in economics, labour market policies, international development, Risk, African development, and corporate finance. In addition, I researched relevant areas like labour market policies, transnational advocacy, Democracy, human rights, and public finance. My previous experience as a research consultant in Tax Transparency, Investment Incentives and public policy has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between policy and development. Currently, I am serving as a country officer, supporting Anglophone African countries in their efforts towards sustainable growth in the Extractive Industry. I am eager to continue my contributions to the development sector and drive positive change in the region.
