William Novotny and Dave Maloney, as partners, formed Appraisal Course Associates (ACA) in 2007 to meet the demand for an affordable personal property core education course for personal property appraisers. From the beginning the partners agreed that there was a fundamental need to integrate the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) into a comprehensive introductory course. A \"Flagship\" six day course emerged that was fully attended in 2007 and 2008. Since then these classes have been primarily provided online. Novotny had written the ACA Online USPAP Update courses as an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor since 2008.ACA\'s online USPAP Update courses have become the only online option for online USPAP Update courses with a personal property focus. These have been well received and cover USPAP changes and updates including 20••••09, 20••••11 and 20••••13.
