Bill is a Board Certified Protection Professional (CPP) of 30 years, a forensic security expert witness, as well as a Certified CPTED Practitioner.He is President of Security Management Services International (SMSI Inc.), a security consulting firm serving a wide array of private and commercial enterprise. Bill Nesbitt and the SMSI team also provide security design and training, as well as litigation support, for both plaintiffs and defendants witness for security derived litigation. SMSI also provides a unique service in support of existing security programs, Security Management Support Program (SMSP). SMSP affords our clients the opportunity to partially outsource the management of their Security Program. The SMSP is supported by the latest security management software. This service may inculde WPV Prevention training and internal crime prevention. Bill also is a court certified security expert and has been retained in over 600 security related lawsuits covering 40 states. His cases have included both personal injury and property crimes. He has also handled intentional tort cases such as false arrest, false imprisonment and excessive use of force. He has testified in cases involving hospitals, hotels, shopping centers, nightclubs, parking facilities and even cargo theft and supply chain breaches.Bill is a sought-after speaker on a wide array of security topics. Bill has completed the ASIS Course for Security Executives at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
