   Currently, I am working as a Technology Services and Vendor Management Lead at Union Pacific Railroad, I oversee technology contracts post execution while ensuring maximum compliance with contractual terms and conditions. I steer all facets of IT vendor relationship management for $250M+ in annual spending, including external vendors and internal employees. I lead procure to pay process for end-user computing software, hardware, and maintenance renewals. I drive cost-saving initiatives by designing a tool to analyze data for the last 3 to 4 years. I gain approval for the operating expense budget from the executive committee by preparing an accurate budget while compiling and standardizing a high volume of data for multiple products and cost centers within three months. Highlights of accomplishment in this role include: • I developed, forecasted, and managed an annual $250M budget for technology software and hardware, validated operational requirements, analyzed variance reports, and implemented action plans to minimize budget deviations. • I oversaw master data reporting for technology vendors in collaboration with IT leadership to maintain strict adherence to contractors’ progress and contractual obligations. • I increased work productivity and accuracy and removed redundancy by building a centralized mailbox for vendor communication, structuring a tracking mechanism for the contracts, and designing a repository with required data fields. • I improved operational efficiency by monitoring ongoing progress, identifying areas of improvement, and delivering remedial action plans in coordination with all internal stakeholders.
