Do Greater Charlotte was birthed from the need to provide access and exposure to design, entrepreneurship, and technology careers through the lens of creativity in under-resourced communities.We exist as a safe space for creative youth to turn their ideas into future opportunities. We bring together students, creative doers and the community to co-learn together and develop the confidence to create solutions to community problems.We are today’s creative community empowering tomorrow’s creative class.

ABOUT WILLIAM MCNEELY
Most people aren’t stuck because they lack discipline or ambition. They’re stuck because they’re waiting for clarity. I believe clarity comes through action.I’m an entrepreneur, nonprofit executive, and former Apple Market Development Executive focused on building systems that help people move from ideas to impact, especially those who’ve been underestimated or overlooked.I’m the Founder & CEO of Do Greater, Inc. and the Creative Labs, where we create real-world environments that spark creativity, build confidence, and expand opportunity. Through the Creative Lab platform, I’ve worked to equip youth and young adults with practical skills in design thinking, digital creativity, entrepreneurship, and leadership, not as theory, but through hands-on experience.My work lives at the intersection of creativity, grit, and action.Along the way, I’ve launched and led multiple ventures, served on nonprofit boards, and partnered with organizations rooted in faith, purpose, and community impact. I’ve been fortunate to receive local recognition for this work, but what matters most to me is helping people get unstuck and move forward. After surviving a double lung transplant and prostate cancer, I gained a deeper understanding of what it really means to keep going when conditions aren’t ideal. That experience shaped a core belief I now teach and live by:You don’t need perfect conditions. You need a way to start and the grit to stay.That belief became Start Anyway - a grit-driven leadership framework built on momentum over mastery and clarity through action.I’m also launching UNDRESTMTD, a platform and podcast where I share lessons and frameworks designed to help others turn adversity into advantage and move from underestimated to unstoppable.Today, I’m focused on expanding Do Greater, Inc and the Creative Lab ecosystem while building tools and conversations that help leaders, founders, and creatives stop waiting and start moving.If you’re building something meaningful and figuring it out as you go, you’re in the right place.
