Manage the infrastructure in AWS for reporting platforms, Tableau, SAS, Business Objects, Micro Strategy, and SAS. • Provide continuing operational insight to evolve the platforms and ensure operational procedures and functional support is as efficient as possible.• Research and implement observability solutions for the platforms to provide better resilience and to ensure that issues are detected before end users even realize there is a problem.• While implement Point of Sale system reporting for the Parks, a licensing issue arose blocking further testing of this proof-of-concept project, and I was able to dynamically adjust existing lower environments to facilitate work needed to justify the project moving forward.• Test, evaluate and document updates and upgrades to systems from OS, infrastructure, and applications to streamline the updates and ensure that others can follow the procedures as the changes migrate from Latest to Stage and finally Prod.• Work with external vendors to provide insight to how we can use the platforms with best practices and make changes using change control procedures designed by Disney to resolve issues and add features.
