Participated in an REU program under Dr. Axel Krieger designing and developing a soft-robotic sphincterotome for bile and pancreatic duct cannulation by using Solidworks and additive manufacturing.Performed finite element analysis simulations (FEA) in Abaqus to obtain stiffness values for each design. Contributed to the implementation of a controller with an integrated force sensor that simplifies the complex control system currently used in ERCP.Actively involved in improving mobility of soft-robot while collaborating with endoscopists from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
