The Ohio High School Athletic Association was born on November 9, 1907 when a \"Board of Director\'s\" was formed to oversee the growth of interscholastic athletics in Ohio. The first state championship ever held by the OHSAA was for Track & Field in May of 1908, track would remain the only state championship conducted by the OHSAA for nearly 15 years. The 20••••23 school year will mark the 115th Boys and 48th Girls OHSAA State Track & Field Championship.In this role am responsible for- Tournament site selection- Tournament & Championship event/meet management- Day to day administration of the sports of track & cross country- Provide coaches and school school administrators support- Publishing of Tournament & Coaches Manuals- Establishment of sport specific regulations and tournmant policies.
