TransLink is MetroVancouver\'s transportation authority, providing corporate services and strategic direction to three transit related operating companies and managing investment in road transportation infrastructure. The Enterprise Sustainability group leads the implementation of the enterprise-wide roadmap with related policies, and programs to achieve- 45% reduction in greenhouse gas emission by 2030- zero tailpipe emissions by 2040, and- net zero enterprise status by 2050. I am responsible for managing carbon credit program growth with the goal of achieving $40M per year in ancillary revenues; driving the integration of energy and emissions management into financial, investment and capital planning/renewal processes and setting energy and emissions policy.This includes developing strategies and managing risks related to TransLink’s energy transition and use of clean, zero-emissions technologies, including hydrogen, renewable fuels (removing kilotonnes of GHG emissions), renewable energy, on-site generation, micro-grids, and energy security/resilience.
