About Will Davis

Will Davis is a people‑first leader with a unique blend of technical expertise and organizational leadership experience across aerospace engineering, data analytics, government, human capital, program management, and the non‑profit sector. He has built his career around leading teams to create efficient, sustainable solutions that deliver meaningful results and meet customer needs.An engineer by training, Will spent 20 years at NASA supporting major human spaceflight programs and later guiding strategic, agency‑wide workforce initiatives. He also brings more than 25 years of non‑profit leadership experience as an advisor, board member, and executive, contributing to mission‑driven organizations across multiple communities.Will’s most recent NASA roles were within the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity (ODEO), where he ultimately served as a Senior Program Analyst at NASA Headquarters. He became a connector – bringing together people, data, processes, and strategy to strengthen organizational performance and shape workforce planning and transformation efforts. At NASA HQ, he led a cross‑functional team of more than 15 specialists to build interactive workforce visualization tools integrating data from multiple systems and delivered an agency‑wide organizational culture survey to support data‑driven decision‑making. He also managed enterprise‑level strategic planning and partnered with NASA centers to align local initiatives with agency goals.Before joining NASA Headquarters, Will served as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager at Johnson Space Center, leading strategic DEI initiatives, overseeing 11 employee resource groups, and directing workforce analytics for compliance and staffing strategy.Earlier, Will spent 12 years as an engineer in NASA’s Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate at JSC, serving as a subject matter expert in materials and processes, mechanical parts, quality engineering, and supply‑chain quality. He supported programs including Commercial Crew, ISS, Orion, and Space Shuttle, and led the development of a comprehensive anti‑counterfeiting program and several IT tools that strengthened procurement quality and supply‑chain operations.Will holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from UTEP, a certificate in Data Analytics from The George Washington University, and multiple NASA certifications. He also serves as Board Chair for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and sits on several advisory boards supporting STEM access and community engagement.
