ABOUT WILLIAM BARNHART

My first introduction to the American Healthcare system was at a young age through my father, who was the superintendent of a local school district. He was in charge of identifying and sourcing the healthcare plans for all of his employees. On our dinner table conversations, I would hear of the struggle he weighed in selecting the best options and solutions for all his employees, knowing that his decision would have a massive impact of the lives of not only his employees but also of their surrounding family as well. Seeing and hearing the struggle of constantly rising healthcare costs, led to my motivation following my graduation from Iowa State to work hard to become a licensed Life and Health agent. I was fortunate to be well connected to my uproots from my time attending Marmion Academy, where I spent four years developing through a military structured program. Many within the local community support and foster the attendees of the academy, much like the four Stumm brothers, the owners of Stumm Insurance. From my previous experience in working for a large, multi-billion-dollar agency to being offered the opportunity to work for a local, family-owned small business, my heart knew instantly where I would be at home. As an experienced Account Coordinator at Stumm Insurance, I:Play a crucial role in managing and supporting client enrollment transactions for groups ranging from 5 to over 500 employees. My responsibilities encompass handling various aspects of employee enrollment, terminations, and change requests throughout the year. I work closely with our service teams to ensure seamless processing and accurate updates of group census material. My role is integral to maintaining efficient client services and ensuring a smooth experience for all parties involved.
