The Center of Excellence (COE) team is a newly formed team with the main objective to be the singular voice between the 1st and 2nd lines of defense. The COE team has four analysts who are considered Strength of Matter Experts (SME) for the Periodic Know Your Customer Review (PKR) process. The COE analysts are responsible for reviewing any request for information (RFI) sent by PKR, Quality Control or Financial Crimes Prevention analysts prior to the case being moved back to the financial adviser in order to prevent unnecessary communication sent to the front office.
