ABOUT WILLIAM ULRIC

As an international student in Psychology with 4+ years of experience in Communication and Politics in Canada, my goal is to accompany patients towards a significant improvement in their mental and emotional well-being. This has been illustrated by - Participation in research studies at Nurservicio to investigate various aspects of human behavior and mental processes such as memory, perception, emotion, personality and social interactions. There, I administered intelligence tests, personality assessments and diagnostic interviews to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. In addition, I developed and implemented interventions to promote positive behavior change, such as stress management, smoking cessation or a weight loss program - Furthermore, working in the elaboration and implementation of a social network campaign for the association \"Action contre la faim\" within the framework of the course \"Planification de la communication\" of the University of Sherbrooke, resulted in a 20% increase in the engagement of the target audience. This experience opened my eyes to the importance of mutual aid without a profit motive- Finally, being one of the of students to have participated in a Psychological First Aid training at the University of Quebec in Montreal, which forged my ability to recognize the signs of emotional distress in my peers and redirect them to the appropriate support resources.
