Lead commissioning technician on multiple Fawley site projects including safety system replacement projects, control system live cutover projects, machine PLC replacement projects. Covering all areas of Fawley Refinery.Supporting in all elements of health, safety, security and environmental aspect for the organisation as an LPS Safety lead. Supporting early feed engineering through detailed brownfield verification of existing safety systems and Instrumentation. International/National travel as ExxonMobil client representative to conduct factory acceptance testing with suppliers including HIMA, Sella Controls, Schneider, Bosch and Bolton. Including leading remote FAT’s for Planer F Replacement and Skins TI’s projects from the Vendors facility. Draft engineering proposal drawing’s for safety and non-safety system replacement cutover wiring. Complete detailed review/mark up of documentation including C&E’s, I/O schedules, wiring diagrams, SRS etc. Using site knowledge/experience to propose practical and efficient engineering solutions for TQ’s whilst liaising directly with engineering contactors. Steward the quality of contactors installation work by leading the project QA/QC. Supporting project handover process by leading butt listing walk down of new equipment. Steward closure of butt list items to ensure safe and efficient turnover of projects. Safely commissioning and disinvest Instrumentation/Systems by working directly with System/Application engineers. Working flexibly to accommodate the changing needs of the business, working long hours and taking on additional responsibilities. Working with people from diverse cultures and have excellent communication skills. Responding promptly and effectively to changing circumstances, planning for contingencies and managing conflicting priorities. Excellent communication skills at all levels while remaining dedicated to ensuring understanding of company requirements and procedures.
