ABOUT WILLIAM TAVERNER
Over 10 years experience developing viral vectors towards the clinic in both the oncolytic and gene therapy settings. Author of multiple scientific papers and inventor on numerous patent applications. As Head of Research at Advia Therapeutics I lead our highly translationally relevant discovery programme. We are committed to the discovery of novel gene therapies for patients with significant unmet need. Previously I have lead viral vector engineering and manufacturing activities, both internally and in collaboration with CDMOs. I also have experience in managing intellectual property portfolios and working with patent attorneys to draft and submit patent applications.
