About William Tansill

I am currently a senior at Clemson University in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business majoring in Economics with minors in Business Administration and Management Information Systems. As an Economics major at Clemson, my journey leading me to this point began in sports as a kid. My passion for sports included a keen interest in the numbers and analytics backing each sport, igniting a fascination to dive into any statistic I could. This passion switched over to the business world as I\'ve taken courses at Clemson, leaving me eager to study the analytics of business. I\'ve had the opportunity to build the skills necessary for this field through my involvement in several organizations at Clemson.I was elected as the Senior Vice President of Delta Sigma Pi, where I was responsible for planning and executing a two-week recruitment process with over 200 recruits. In addition, I joined College of Business Recruitment Ambassadors, where I was eventually elected as Director of Operations, to conjoin my ability to connect with people and my passion for Clemson. Finally, I was selected to serve on the Economics Student Advisory Board, where I have the privilege of representing the Economics student body while planning events and working with other members of the board.Going forward, I am looking for a role where I can utilize my ability to lead a team, my effective communication skills, and my passion for numbers to gain experience in insurance underwriting.
