There is nothing more satisfying than advising a company that I incorporated in a public offering or liquidity event - looking back on the full life cycle of a company and the personal relationships developed during that journey is incredibly satisfying. After decades of practice in the U.S, I relocated to London in September 2018 to work in the rapidly-growing tech markets of the U.K, continental Europe and Israel. The world of technology company building and investing is global in reach, and I have found it energizing and exciting to apply my skills in my new location.I have helped over a thousand companies in my career. From a legal perspective, the key to starting a new company is ensuring that the legal documentation properly sets the stage for future venture investment by establishing founder ownership, stock vesting and protecting the company\'s intellectual property.
