About William Salerno

I have over ten years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer for Automated Conveyor Systems (ACS) and Canon Virginia Incorporated (CVI). I started my career at ACS, ACS specializes in conveyor for the corrugated box industry. I\'ve worked in both office and field setting designing and programming jobs for custom conveyor systems. In the field, I was often the lead engineer directing and managing our team on installation of controls and startup of plant systems. CVI, a subsidiarity of Canon Incorporated Japan, specializes in the manufacturing and recycling of toner, toner cartridges, and camera repair. I work with the Advanced Manufacturing Technology group to develop and understand how the latest in technology can help Canon create smart automation for manufacturing which include: artificial intelligence (AI) and industrial internet of things (IIOT). After working at canon for over five years I returned to ACS to be a lead engineer supporting and leading our team. Being a part of each company has taught me that being a creative thinker with a positive humble attitude and a determined work ethic is crucial to success. My goal is to continue to expand my career as an engineer and to find my dream job.
