Commander, 225th Engineer BrigadeLouisiana Army National Guard. 01APR25 – PresentAs the commander of the 225th Engineer Brigade, I lead one of the largest engineer brigades in the Army National Guard, overseeing the training, readiness, and operational effectiveness of over 2,200 soldiers across multiple battalions. I am responsible for ensuring mission success in domestic response operations, combat and construction engineer missions, and theater security cooperation efforts.Key responsibilities include: •Commanding and controlling engineer forces in support of state and federal missions. •Executing the brigade’s role in large-scale combat operations and homeland defense. •Providing critical engineer capabilities, including mobility, counter-mobility, survivability, and general engineering. •Leading strategic planning, resource management, and personnel development to maintain operational excellence. •Advising senior military and civilian leadership on engineer capabilities and force employment. •Ensuring the brigade is prepared for state emergency response missions, such as disaster relief and infrastructure support.
