About William Riffe
I lead the planning and execution of global offshore motion compensated gangway projects.My role centers on ensuring safe, efficient personnel and cargo transfers for clients in the offshore wind industry and oil & gas sectors.I spend around 70% of my time behind the laptop and 30% in the field working with the system and our technical operators.I manage multiple projects concurrently, working closely with internal departments — from engineering to logistics — to support operational continuity and system performance.I serve as a focal point for external stakeholders such as vessel owners, specialized vendors, and utility/platform operators, aligning project goals and resolving issues in real time. To assess project performance, I track system data and collect in-field personnel observations - after collaborative analysis with our technical teams, I present insights to internal and external leadership that inform operations strategy.Most of all, I have wonderful colleagues and clients and have a lot of fun working with exceptional technology!
