Currently managing three sites in the midlands- Two sites In rugby and one site in Nuneaton. The contract is with Hermes the parcels company in a large distribution centre. My main responsibilities are;• Keeping to the wage budget set at three hundred and fifty hours per week• Ensuring deployment of staff is set correctly to action our daily schedule• Ordering cleaning supplies• Safeguarding the staff through championing COSHH/Health and safety regulations• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activitiesThis is a long term project as these sites before I took over as manager were in a bad position, rated bottom in the whole of the UK Hermes sites. Key Achievements: After just one month I have already seen vast improvements in the standards of all three sites. This has already been noticed by management and we are now moving forward. I have also decreased the wage bill from an average three hundred and sixty hours a week to two hundred and eighty hours per week, saving the company money while increasing cleaning standards.
