In the pass drove tractor/trailer in Germany, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Turkey, and Greece for the 501st S&T BN and 37 Trans. Group, 89th Trans. Company, later for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, all in all driven over accident free miles while in Europe. When departing Germany and returning to the US, I worked for Amtrak as a tractor/trailer driver, later working for the Boston & Maine Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer, after working 24 years, taking an early out, presently driving tractor/trailer within the 48 US States and Canada in delivering general and/or hazardous cargo to various customers. While driving for the 37th Trans. Group, became a tractor/trailer instructor. Teaching various new drivers in how to handle various types of equipment loaded or empty on the European highway system and what the different highway signs meant, later before departing the 37th Group became the safety officer for the 89th Trans. Company. Two years over the road driving for Swift Transportation. Presently driving for Cressler Transportation in the Northeast region.
