ABOUT WILLIAM REID
Currently a Manager within KPMG’s ESG Assurance Department, having previously worked within Financial Statement audit. I am also a Charted Accountant (ACA) with the ICAEW. I specialise in delivery of both limited and reasonable assurance of GHG emissions and other ESG KPI’s. I have experience working with environmental frameworks such as TCFD, CSRD, ISSB and SASB. This includes drafting environmental disclosures for entities. I previously studied Mechanical Engineering at University of Birmingham and specialised in NOx and SOx reduction techniques within the shipping industry. I maintain a keen interest in politics and business and am always looking to use my engineering knowledge in aspects of sustainability and corporate responsibility. When I’m not working I am an active sportsman and a competitive powerlifter, having previously competed for GB.
