Iraq & Afghanistan Campaign Army Combat Veteran (23+ yrs, still serving). 12+ years of professional technical experience in an information systems environment. 8+ years in the public sector (Federal) managing the virtual infrastructure for the Illinois National Guard network. Battalion CBRN Warrant Officer advisor/technician and community volunteer. IT Professional, and currently a System Administrator in a Military Environment with experience as a Platform Engineer, and experience with VMware vCenter/vSphere, VMware ESXi, Cisco Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HyperFlex), active directory, Remote Monitoring and Management tools, managed services, network administration, and tier 2 & 3 customer support/help desk. I am able to work solo, but I prefer working on a team. I am highly interested in heightening my skills & proficiency in the information technology field through experience, networking, continuous education and training opportunities.
