ABOUT WILLIAM REDICK
I began my career in the energy industry in 2007, where I joined Clariant, a prominent chemical company. Initially employed as a field service technician, I gained valuable experience before transitioning to Nabors well services in 2008. At Nabors, I worked on work over rigs at Elk Hills, located just outside of Bakersfield, for approximately one year. I then moved on to North Midway and Belridge, focusing on oil and steam wells. In pursuit of a change in my professional path, I decided to venture into law enforcement. In mid-2010, I completed the academy and was on the verge of starting my career with a local agency when I received an enticing offer from Aera Energy in December of the same year. Accepting the opportunity, I joined the Belridge steam team at Aera Energy and dedicated myself to learning and obtaining MOCs (Management of Change) for every aspect of the department until 2012.Recognizing my capabilities and dedication, I was promoted to the position of Lead Operator for the Belridge treating team. In this role, I assumed responsibilities such as meter proving verification, sample pulling, meter sales tickets, pipeline scheduling and balancing, gauging tanks, as well as troubleshooting wet lact units and CPMS lact units. In 2012, during my transition, I acquired my contractor\'s license and established a successful pool plastering company in Bakersfield, California. I maintained this business until late 2016. Although I am currently inactive as a C-53 contractor in the state of California, my license remains valid. Moreover, since 2012, I have actively pursued my interest in emergency medical response. I joined and obtained a 60-hour medical first responder training certificate, allowing me to serve as a volunteer medical responder in Belridge since early 2012. In October 2022, I became a certified National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT).Continuing my educational journey, I obtained my associate\'s degree from Porterville College in the summer of 2022. As of June of 2024 I completed my degree at California State University Bakersfield earning my bachelor\'s degree in business management graduating cum laude with a 3.65 GPA
