Manage the daily operations of the VSCC physical plant & staff. Oversee the coordination, planning and management of all physical plant activities for all satellite campuses-Insure the college has and maintains effective preventative maintenance, energy savings, health and safety, landscaping, fleet, and facility improvement programs-Assist in the design, estimation, planning, and supervision of facility renovation and construction projects-Provide supervision of the physical plant staff in the areas of facilities management, building maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, HVAC, motor pool operations, shipping, receiving, campus scheduling, and subcontractor oversight-Manage departmental budget of $4.2 Million -Oversee department safety and health program while ensuring compliance with all applicable fire, building TOSHA, state, and local codes-Provide leadership and engineering expertise in the development of internal facility improvement projects, landscaping plans, facility master plan, risk management reporting, capital outlay projects, capital maintenance projects, and disclosed projects.
