ABOUT WILLIAM NETTLES
My professional experience at Amec Foster Wheeler includes being responsible for the development of multidisciplinary engineering documentation packages for modifications made to Systems, Structures and Components at operating nuclear power plants. Key responsibilities include researching, understanding and ensuring that modification designs meet the technical, procedural and regulatory requirements specific to each client so designs can be implemented. My experience at Georgia Power Company included planning, coordinating and executing functionality testing of systems that control and protect electrical equipment in transmission/distribution substations. I am a highly motivated individual who approaches problems with a positive attitude and an energetic approach. I care deeply about the quality of my work and take pleasure in solving problems both as part of a team and individually. I have a multidisciplinary background that demonstrates my ability to adapt and excel in new and different opportunities. I have had success in my professional career by placing a high degree of importance on effective communication, technical rigor and conscience, attention to detail and accountability for myself and my team. Evidence of this success includes being awarded Engineer of the Year in 2016 and continuously being the \"go to\" engineer when emergent work issues arise.
