ABOUT WILLIAM MITCHELL

Bill has been a part of HOK for over 27 years and currently serves as a Senior Principal at HOK Canada. He is a member of HOK Canada’s Senior Leadership team and the firm’s Marketing Board, which drives the strategic vision, growth, and client experience across HOK\'s 26 regional offices. In his role, Bill is responsible for marketing and business development across Canada, supporting offices in Toronto, Calgary, and Ottawa. He was instrumental in launching HOK\'s Ottawa office and global Space Management practice. He has managed national and international client relationships, including TD Bank, RBC, Capital One, Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, Spotify, and Nokia. Bill oversees strategic planning for a diverse, sustainable practice for HOK Canada\'s 200-person office. He actively develops HOK’s key markets: airport/transportation terminals, research laboratories, corporate facilities and commercial office buildings, healthcare campuses, and courts, detention, and government projects. Bill has been an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), and CoreNet Global, where he supports the CoreNet Canada Leadership Team. Bill is a graduate of the Carleton University School of Architecture. His specialties include relationship management, business development, workplace design and management, and marketing and communications management. Outside of his professional life, Bill is an avid golfer and serves on the Board of Directors at Rivermead Golf Club, which was established in 1910.
