About William M.
Planting and growing seeds of hope is essential. Professionally, I strive to integrate intuition, creativity, and evidence based practice into my clinical work. My focus in practice and training others is to emphasize meaning-making and whole-self health and wellness. As a result of my brilliant mentors and diverse clinical experiences, I have been dedicated to high quality care and training. Over the past 6 years being a licensed Psychologist, I have had the privilege of fostering and growing evidence based clinical programs for school districts and community health agencies, providing psychotherapy to a wide range of clients from child/adolescents with ASD and emotional/behavioral concerns to families managing all of life’s stressors to LGBTQIA+ individuals of all ages, conducting disability evaluations with veterans, inpatient care for SMI and TBI, as well managing what has become a sizable integrated outpatient clinic that is part of one of the largest APA accredited internships in the US. I seek to continue this path of growth and development, utilizing the skills and knowledge gained over the years. If you couldn’t tell, I enjoy assisting others to make meaningful changes in their lives, as well as affecting public policy to reflect the needs of underserved and marginalized populations. We must advocate for ourselves, others, and the betterment of society. A very wise woman once told me,\"if you can truly focus your energy, you can move mountains.\" That is what I am trying to do.
Experience

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services
Mar 2021 — Present
Within Quality Management (QM), I work with a dynamic and highly skilled team of professionals to help ensure best practices and high quality care is being provided. I am a member of a number of committees related to audit processes, clinical trainings, program development, and policies and procedures. While utilizing my passion for training and development, I also oversee the credentialing of trainings for Continuing Education (CE) hours for NBCC and APA within SB & H. I collaborate and spearhead clinical programming and training that is diverse, dynamic, and focused on meeting the integrated health needs of our members. I also continue to provide individual clinical supervision to Practicum students, pre-doctoral interns, and post-doctoral residents within our APA accredited doctoral of psychology training program.
