CASA aims to increase sustainable investment in agribusinesses with smallholder supply chains and increase the involvement of poorer smallholders in these supply chains, with demonstrably higher incomes. CASA seeks to drive catalytic change in the way investors view and invest in agribusinesses that work with smallholder supply chains. Specifically CASA will increase economic opportunities for smallholder farmers by:• Enabling more smallholder farmers to engage with and trade into commercial markets;• Demonstrating the commercial viability of agribusinesses with significant smallholder supply chains and attracting more investment into these businesses;• Deepening the smallholder impact of investments made by development of finance instructions and impact investors.The Deputy Team Leader is responsible for client relationship management, providing strategic leadership, supporting the Team Leader with technical assistance advice for project intervention development, and quality assurance advice and inputs for all key deliverables, including final internal sign off an submission, as well as all Programme Management responsibilities including setting up and maintaining all relevant systems for the programme. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the programme management team, commercial contract management, including overseeing work planning, monitoring and forecasting inputs in planned in conjunction with the TL, and Country Intervention Managers and Component Leads, financial reporting, sub-contractor management and risk management.
