About William Labarre
Projects in the Nuclear industry require a multi disciplined mix of talented people. Whether you are building a new reactor, modifying an operating one, or working on something first of a kind, let me help you make your project project a successful one.I have been in the nuclear power industry since I have graduated college working on a wide range of projects and serving a number of different roles within the companies I have worked for. I started my career as a project engineer and learned how a large company tackles large scale projects and a variety of scopes. I then became a design engineer providing solutions that launched new products as well as solved obsolescence issues. I obtained extensive QA experience helping a company join the NIAC organization and performing NQA-1 audits and site inspections of various suppliers. I then acquired new business and managed the projects from the beginning until final shipment. My next job took me out to California where I worked as a qualification engineer developing and executing procedures that would qualify our product for specific applications. That testing includes full and RCC-E qualification as well as various different types of EMC testing based on the standards that were required. I wrote reports and performed similarity analysis for new and existing products. Now I am a regional sales manager supporting the nuclear power plants and other various application throughout North and South America. I come up with solutions that meet what the customer is looking for and provides support to project management, engineering, manufacturing, and QA when necessary. I enjoy forging new relationships and collaborating with other companies that create solutions that solve customer problems.
