About William Kelsey
I am an executive with over 25 years of experience in managing large-scale energy projects from the development phase through construction and operation. As Chief Development Officer of Swift Current Energy, I lead all aspects of the company’s wind and solar project development activities in North America. Prior to co-founding Swift Current Energy, I managed the development and construction of more than 2,490 MW of utility-scale wind projects at Horizon Wind Energy, supporting the company’s growth from family ownership through acquisition by Goldman Sachs and ultimately ownership by EDP. To date, I have successfully managed the development of over 3,547 MW of renewable generation and have extensive experience overseeing project siting, permitting, procurement, commissioning and utility integration.
