Assist in the development and delivery of services directed at transitioning and retaining Veteran students at risk for successfully completing their program. Assess and identify barriers that impede academic success and coordinate any other institutional resources necessary for Veteran students’ academic success and degree completion. Work closely with Counselors, the Center for New Students, Minority Services, Educational Support Services, Veterans Education Benefits and academic departments to ensure that district-wide retention services are provided to Veteran students. Provide Veteran students with advising and guidance in their college educational program and assist in their transition.
