   Responsible for building, driving and maturing the procurement and strategic sourcing processes. Develop and train business leaders on sourcing strategies and processes designed to support the long-term business strategies, drive efficiency, enhance risk mitigation and reduce expenses. Direct key procurement activities, including negotiation of contracts and vendor management. Work closely with the business unit leaders across the company who are responsible for sourcing assets and services. Responsible for the following: Building and implementing a scalable procurement process that ensures individual department purchase requirements are properly vetted and aligned with overall corporate strategy; Analyzing current purchase data and systems, working with Business Unit leaders and researching best practices across the industry; Maintaining and updating the processes and policies; Perform benchmark pricing analysis, internal spend analysis, total cost of ownership and asset management; In conjunction with the business, review vendor proposals and contracts and guide the negotiation process; Serve as liaison in communications between Legal, Finance and the Business Unit leaders on contract terms; Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and develop cost savings opportunities and/or risk mitigation for the company, including IT security and inter-operability of system concerns around software services; Evaluate vendor performance and work collaboratively to recommend contract renewals, re-negotiations, terminations and new RFP opportunities; Develop and support the business in monitoring compliance with Service Level Agreements with key suppliers; Indirect procurement experience in the area of IT software/service procurement and risk management factors associate with such contracts; financial acumen will be required to determine impact of contracts on the financials results.
