As the Employee Engagement Program Manager at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), I lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on strengthening employee engagement across all Institutes and Centers. I collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to design and implement strategic programs that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. My efforts are aimed at aligning employee engagement with NIH’s broader mission, ensuring that staff at every level feel supported, informed, and connected.A key part of my role involves analyzing data from the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) and other internal sources to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. I translate these findings into actionable recommendations and present them to leadership to guide decision-making and enhance organizational effectiveness. I also serve as a trusted advisor to Points of Contact (POCs) across NIH, providing individualized support on survey promotion, data interpretation, and the development of tailored action plans that address specific institutional needs.In parallel with engagement initiatives, I co-manage NIH’s New Employee Onboarding program. I lead the creation and facilitation of orientation sessions designed to help new hires transition smoothly into the organization. These sessions equip employees with essential tools, resources, and connections that foster early engagement and a sense of belonging. Through this work, I help ensure a consistent and supportive onboarding experience that contributes to long-term employee satisfaction and retention.
