After transitioning from active duty service in the U.S. Navy, I now serve as a National Security Advisor in the U.S. Senate, advising on defense, intelligence, and foreign policy issues. Drawing on operational experience across multiple theaters, I bring a deep understanding of global security dynamics, counterterrorism, and defense modernization to support the development of legislation that strengthens U.S. national security.My work focuses on advancing policies that ensure our Armed Forces remain the most capable, innovative, and well-supported in the world. I collaborate closely with the Department of Defense, industry partners, and congressional committees to shape initiatives related to acquisition reform, emerging technologies, and strategic deterrence.I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from Miami University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Chapman University. Currently, I am pursuing an MBA at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business to further refine my expertise in strategic leadership, defense economics, and organizational decision-making.I am committed to a forward-looking approach to national security that not only deters threats but also fosters innovation and strengthens the defense industrial base in support of our service members and their families.
