Working with underwriting staff to analyze insureds risk profile that include losses, CSA/CAB reports, and safety performance.Responsible for attaining monthly/yearly Gross Written Premium targets thru renewal book and new business.Created and maintained a comprehensive Loss Control Report that was used to assist insureds on improving their safety performance.Conducted Loss Control on-site inspections for insureds and potential insureds to verify adequate safety measures were in place to minimize risk. Conducted numerous training secessions for underwriting staff on regulatory compliance, safety practices and scope of operations. Elected to sit on the Specialized Carrier and Rigging Association’s Transportation Safety Education and Training Committee. Conducted numerous presentations to various Associations; including State Trucking Associations, Specialized Carrier and Rigging Associations, and State Insurance Agency Associations on regulatory compliance, safety practices and risk mitigation. Presented numerous webinars to associations and trade organizations on regulatory compliance, safety practices and risk mitigation.Building relationships with appointed agents and building new relationships with agents, the Specialized Transportation Gross program’s Written Premium increased from $21M in 2020 to $44M in 2023.
