About William Hawley

I graduated in May 2024 from Miami University Farmer School of Business, where I majored in Real Estate, with a concentration in finance. I am actively seeking full-time employment in the realms of Real Estate Asset Management, Real Estate Financial Analysis, Asset Management, and/or Real Estate Valuation, in the New York City Area. I hope with this position I can apply some of the many skills I have adopted through my time at Miami University and my summer intern experience. As a student in Real Estate, classes at Miami have developed my proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word, interpersonal communication skills, marketing, real estate investing, digital communication, and financial literacy. I am currently enrolled in an Argus Certification class with the Altus Group which I will complete by the end of 2024. I think as a whole Miami provided me with strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. I possess a self-starter mentality and thrive in collaborative team environments. Moreover, I\'m highly motivated to learn from experienced leadership. During the summer leading up to my senior year, I worked as an intern at CP Partners, a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage firm out of San Francisco. During my time at CP Partners, I worked alongside a seasoned partner of the company. I did research with applications such as Costar and Reonomy, performed on-site visits, sent compelling emails to clients, sat in on calls, worked with the marketing team to create marketing packages, developed and maintained connections and relationships, and got real-world experience and knowledge. I applied the knowledge I acquired to my advanced real estate classes and can confidently say I am ahead of the curve and feel comfortable with my real estate knowledge. I enjoy being challenged, working with others, learning, adapting and growing. I believe that life is change. If you aren\'t growing and evolving, you\'re standing still, and the rest of the world is surging ahead. I look forward to growing my professional and personal skills through a career in real estate in the heart of it all NYC.
