ABOUT WILLIAM HARPER
I’m currently studying political science at New York University, NYC, pursuing a career in public policy and investment banking. I just completed my internship at Morgan Stanley, and I previously interned at BCP Securities, Greenwich, CT, a global boutique investment bank specializing in emerging market bonds. I also have done community organizational work (Voters To Tomorrow, Care4Kiddos, People’s Forum, Help The Homeless, Light Up Project, etc.). I was Fundraising Director of Help The Homeless and Treasurer for the Light Up Project. I’ve participated in campaign and field volunteer work for 3 Congressional electoral races now. I’m an organizational coordinator for The People’s Forum, a progressive political organization. I’ve won regional awards, attended regional writing and economic programs, tutored English to students, and was a member of my local press magazine. My organizational work is important to me, as I come from a multi-ethnic family background with my dream being to be of assistance to those in need.
