I was called to the Bar in 1998. I can hardly believe it was so long ago. I started off with rolling my sleeves up and cutting my teeth in the Criminal Courts. It was a lot of fun. At the same time I was slowly being introduced to Family Law and without knowing it I started to really enjoy appearing in the Family Courts. One day I woke up and realised that I was no longer a Criminal Law Advocate but a Family Law Advocate. I have not looked back. Well, the odd occasion. Like most Family Law practitioners I turn my hand to most family disputes and enjoy a good challenge. Whether it be public law hearings or private law fall outs, arguments over matrimonial finances or protection of the vulnerable, I endeavour to provide a professional and focused service.
