As the third generation in my family to join Gooch Oriental Carpets, I am committed to continuing and expanding a legacy of excellence in the rug industry. Established by my grandfather and led by my father since 2003, we have become the primary rug supplier to John Lewis across the UK, delivering exceptional products and service.In my role as Procurement Manager, I oversee the sourcing of premium rugs from globally recognised weaving regions, including Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, and Turkey. Our collections feature a curated blend of handwoven, hand-knotted, hand-loomed, and machine-made rugs, ensuring we meet the needs of diverse retail and design clients.Looking ahead, my focus is on expanding our customer base and building strategic partnerships with major retailers in the UK, Europe, and worldwide.
