I have worked at Wincanton for 6 years where I continue to focus on Treasury, Tax, Pensions and Insurance. During this period I have refinanced the business with £175m RCF, resolved complex tax litigation, negotiated a complex pension Triennial valuation process as well as developed a non conventional insurance program. In addition to the strategic projects listed I continue to deliver strong cash conversion, a strong low risk tax function and am building a strong Customs and Excise business.Managed Tax, Treasury, Risk and Pensions at ISS UK following 2 years on a range of project work and temporary assignments.This included:Assisting the pan European integration of GSH Group (16 countries) into ISS using his broad based project management skills including legal structuring, tax and treasury.Managing working capital and deliver demanding cash targets and enhance operational risk management including the implementation of a governance framework at ISS as UK Risk and treasury manager.Prior to that he had been Managing Director of a manufacturing business based in Somerset where he has driven sales, refreshed the product portfolio and identified and implemented a strategic change to the business leading to its successful sale.The two recent roles led from a career as Head of Treasury and Tax in a large support services business as it developed into a FTSE250 group as turnover grew from £300m to £2bn over 10 years.
