I’m a comedy writer/producer who’s worked my way onto television as a deranged singing cowboy, an evil swamp monster, an alien overlord, and over 100 other characters on the sketch show Studio C. My work as a producer gained me entry to the television academy. That means now, after hundreds of production meetings helping decide things like “where to strap the laser beams on the space dog”, I get to vote on who wins the Emmy. I have a decade of experience writing and producing comedy in Nashville, Chicago, Utah, and Los Angeles. My background is in production and editing but along the way I’ve gotten good at quite a few things depending on what the project called for.My clients and employers range from televised sketch shows looking for someone to act and produce, to crypto firms looking for clever copy, and even high school students in search of mentoring/tutoring as they start their own creative journeys. I’ve spent many years developing each of my skills individually and I’m here to service your project with whatever combination of these skills will work best. Whether my client is a brand looking for voice over work or a director looking for a pitch deck; I approach them the same way. I start by asking how I can supply what is needed in a way that no one else could. Then I ask why it hasn’t been done that way before.I like finding a barrier to entry. I believe that any path that’s been traveled down before is burned. There is always a novel way to do something. While it’s okay to steal elements of time tested strategies, any approach to a problem I help a client or employer solve should be a Frankenstein’s monster of old and new approaches custom tailored to what my collaborator or client wants. I offer unique creative solutions to any task or problem.
