With over a decade of expertise in AI and data science, I currently serve as Senior Director of Responsible AI at Empower. My mission is to embed ethical innovation into every aspect of AI development, ensuring alignment with regulatory, legal, and societal expectations. Passionate about fostering responsible AI adoption, I collaborate across legal, compliance, and security teams to drive governance initiatives that enable transformative yet ethical advancements. At Empower, I oversee the lifecycle of AI models, managing an inventory that ensures governance and compliance. My team establishes frameworks, standards, and KPIs to assess and mitigate AI risks while supporting adoption through training and enablement. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, I focus on Responsible AI testing and rapid issue resolution, driving innovation that balances opportunity with accountability.

   I lead Responsible AI Governance by building frameworks, standards, and ethical guidelines that ensure AI innovation aligns with regulatory, legal, and societal expectations. I oversee the centralized inventory of AI models across the organization, manage their full lifecycle, and drive responsible AI adoption through training programs and KPI-driven enablement strategies.Working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams, I proactively assess AI risks and oversee Responsible AI testing processes to ensure rapid issue resolution. I am proud to lead a multidisciplinary team of AI ethicists, data scientists, analysts, and project managers, fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning.With a strong background in AI research, model risk management, and data privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), I am passionate about shaping a future where AI is deployed responsibly, transparently, and in a way that maximizes both innovation and trust.
