ABOUT WILLIAM E. MOSLEY

I am a Senior Director in the Legal & Compliance Organization of Applied Materials, the world leader in semiconductor fabrication equipment and materials engineering solutions. In this role, I lead Applied\'s Special Investigations & Regulatory Enforcement (SIRE) team, which is responsible for managing and conducting high-stakes internal investigations, responses to government investigations and inquiries, and related judicial or administrative proceedings. Prior to forming SIRE, I managed Applied\'s worldwide general commercial litigation docket, in addition to supporting IP litigation matters involving Applied\'s patents and trade secrets.Before joining Applied, I was an associate in the Silicon Valley office of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP. As a member of the firm\'s Patent Litigation Team, I engaged in patent infringement lawsuits spanning a diverse field of technologies, including semiconductor processing, enterprise data storage solutions, mobile gaming applications, digital rights management, and many others. I also litigated trade secret, trademark, and copyright disputes, as well as general commercial disputes involving the sale and licensing of technology. In addition, I was heavily involved in both IP enforcement and IP transactions as outside enforcement and licensing counsel to one of Silicon Valley’s preeminent technology companies.I am a longtime member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon Valley (APABA Silicon Valley). I served on the organization\'s Board of Directors from 2013 to 2021, and served as President in 2020. I remain active with APABA Silicon Valley\'s Strategic Advisory Committee.
