ABOUT WILLIAM E. GREENSPAN
William E. Greenspan served as Professor of Business Law at the University of Bridgeport for 44 years, teaching Business Law courses, publishing articles, performing service to UB and to the community, and mentoring fellow colleagues, staff, and students. Beginning in tax year 2006 he was the Site Coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic sponsored by the IRS at which he and his trained volunteers helped thousands of international students fill out their tax returns. UB was the first VITA site for international students in Connecticut. He advised thousands of students during his tenure, and chaired several committees, including the Student Appeals Committee and the Faculty Appeals Committee. On May 31, 2014, at the UB Full Board of Trustees meeting, the Board passed a resolution unanimously to appoint Dr. William E. Greenspan as Professor Emeritus. Dr. Greenspan continues maintaining the Web page for his professional association - The North Atlantic Regional Business Law Association -
