ABOUT WILLIAM DYKES

William is a published author and trend setting, influential, change agent who in his career as an account executive for such major high tech companies as Lucent Technologies, Marconi communications, and 3Com was responsible for the sale and installation of the corporate networks of prestigious companies such as St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital, UPS worldwide, Healthsouth, John\'s Hopkins and the advanced fiber optic networks for all 16 of the community colleges in the state of Mississippi. In the midst of this highly successful career where he was recognized as the top major account executive world worldwide during multiple years, William made time to initiate and co-found a unique hi-tech high school for the minority community in the west end of Birmingham, Ala. The high school integrated distance learning with onsite instruction by masters degree\'d and Ph.D level instructors using cooperative and collaborative learning styles. From its founding in each student was equipped with a high speed state of the art workstation where learning by doing was the order of the day. William\'s entrepreneurial, innovative spirit helped him found Optelica, a company on the cutting edge of the FTTH (Fiber to the Home) movement. His vision and drive rallied multiple communities to plan \"Municipal Information Utiilities\". He secured millions of dollars and the votes of the councils of these communities in support of the building these powerful resources for the people. William also founded EGBN,(Everlasting Gospel Broadcasting Network)
