Manage the engineering group for YETI’s highest revenue category, drinkware - Helped organize a structural shift within the company: a new director was hired to manage engineering services (our prototype and validation facility), a new director was brought in to manage the hard cooler and cargo categories and under my and a peer’s recommendation, the manufacturing engineering team was moved into operations - Increased the drinkware engineering team by 3 people (thus far) and are nearing release of an updated engineering development process that is focused on early development
