I am a trial lawyer in the Chicago office of FisherBroyles, LLP. I am a trial attorney with over three decades of experience. Clients have retained me as lead trial counsel in over two dozen trials and arbitration hearings in venues throughout the United States. My trial work has included matters such as product liability, antitrust, consumer class actions, takeover disputes, copyright infringement. patent damages, fraud, insurance insolvency, fiduciary duty and breach of contract. My practice places particular emphasis on antitrust litigation (including state and federal class actions); intellectual property disputes (including trademark and copyright); labor and employment disputes (including class actions alleging violations of wage and hours laws); defense of consumer class actions involving, among others, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state consumer fraud statutes; and corporate governance/shareholder disputes. My antitrust work as a counselor has included, among other things, representing over a dozen leading manufacturers of RFID products in the successful formation of the RFID Consortium, a patent-licensing organization. I am a member of the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and a member of the bar of the First, Seventh, and Eighth Circuits.In connection with my pro bono work, I have been honored to be recognized as Special Counsel to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.Specialties: The Supreme Court of does not recognize certifications of specialties in the practice of law, and I do not hold myself out as a specialist.
